Acton Counseling Associates clinicians are professionally licensed to practice in the State of Maryland. We also have specialty certifications in areas of advanced therapy and psychological testing services.

We provide therapy, counseling and evaluation servies in our work with adults, children and teens.  This includes  individual, couples, family and play therapy services.

Our group was founded on the belief that every individual can learn, grow and adapt .  Our founders were influenced by the pioneering work of Virginia Satir, MSW whose Declaration of Self Esteem well describes the personal ethos from which we approach our work:
